ICF House Plans

So you’ve decided to build an ICF home and don’t know where to start.  Well, you’ll start at the same place as you would with any other home, with the plans!  Obviously there will be a few differences in how the plans are drawn up using ICF’s instead of wood frame.  First the exterior walls will be thicker than wood frame walls.  I used Polysteel ™ forms that were 11 inches thick so my exterior walls had a 12 inch finished dimension (11 inch form plus ½ inch for drywall and ½ for vinyl siding).  Here are a few pictures of my home built with ICF forms.
